CHEMO WEEK #2 HEALING

Published on 10 March 2025 at 19:49

Week 2 of chemo went much better than Week 1. Weeks two and three of treatment I only receive one of the three drugs called Paclitaxel, or Taxol for short. The side effects were fairly mild, mostly just some fatigue and a persistent metallic taste that makes food taste a bit off. Overall, it was a good week, and I felt much more at ease. The highlight of the week was definitely the weekend, which we spent with our dear friend Jason who came to visit us from Reno, Nevada. It was such a refreshing and joyful time and we’re grateful for the love and support he brought us.

This week I am grateful for family and friends who help lift my spirits with texts and calls. I am grateful for warmer weather and mild chemo side effects. It is wonderful to feel good especially on the weekends.

One day at a time, one step at a time--All things happen in God's time.
